31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. joelle Strengthed his/her Faith at 8:24 AM
"Leprosy kills the body, SIN kills the soul." Man can try to control everything, but we find it hard to control ourselves. We are in bondage to sin, which is the lack of self-control. The lack of the ability to not do what is unrighteous. Jesus is the only cure for sin. HEALING from Him is needed. Naaman (the guy from the bible verse. He was a general in high power and authority, so he sort of had a basis to be the arrogant and proud man that he was) was corrupted both in his body and in his soul. We do NOT have to buy the services of God, we just need to be humble enough to ask Him of it and then receive it. Question is, are we prepared for it? Because of his pride, Naaman walked away. Are we too proud to receive? Are we willing to receive God's blessings? Luke 1:51-52 says that Jesus has lifted up the humble. Naaman was given a second chance to be healed of his leprosy, which he took. By doing so, he actually humbled himself, by revealing to all his servants and all those under him every bit of his ugliness and weakness. This exposure was truly a humbling experience for him, as he had to dethrone his pride from his heart. Remember: God honours those who honour Him. The leprosy of sin in our lives can be healed by God, if only we can humble ourselves before Him. We have to strip ourselves of our inflicted pride. The only cure for sin is the forgiveness and mercy of Jesus. Luke 4:18-19 reveals that we need to have FAITH to believe in Him, and HUMILITY to ask of His blessings. It is our humbel desperation which will attract the manifestated presence of our God. It is the only way in which we can draw God from His dimension into ours and make Him appear to us in a tangible way. This will happen when the conditions of our hearts are right. joelle Strengthed his/her Faith at 5:51 AM

31To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." - John 8:12, 31 This moment 2 verses struck me. "Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness". God never leaves us. I realise that in this time and space where everything is changing, what with us going through our numerous transitions, our peaks and troughts. Sometimes we feel worthless like a slug, sometimes we squash ourselves on leaves and eat grass. But GOD NEVER LEAVES US. I mean, I would leave a slug alone. It helps to have someone who will love you no matter what. On bad days, God flips it around and makes it a better one, ONLY if you choose to see things the way he sees it. Cause He doesn't create circumstances that do not benefit us eventually. Back to my initial theme of giving thanks in everything we do and experience. Right now my eyes feel like two pufferfish going at each other. My left eye is more alluring I think cause I have double eyelids on that one. But God still made me unique in His own ways. I wouldn't be me if I went for an operation and had triple eyelids. I may not even end up prettier. Just remain thankful. I am who I am, and hey, God really loves that. joelle Strengthed his/her Faith at 8:45 AM

16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! Si Ning: Because Christ died on the cross for us, our sins are cleansed. In order to be redeemed, we have to CONFESS of the sins that we know we have committed and hand them over to our Lord and Father. That way, we are accepting Christ as our personal savior. Make a PRAYER about it, asking God to come into your life! And from that moment onwards, you know you're a changed person. Cause you are redeemed. Shall post the Hillsongs prayer for you all later! joelle Strengthed his/her Faith at 9:53 PM
